"As an artist, I love the opportunity to get outside in our inspiring local landscape. I usually paint on location, “en plein air”, which simply means in the open air. I feel very lucky to be able to spend time at Santa Barbara County’s beautiful beaches, ranches, and in valleys, vineyards, towns & mountains. I paint in oils, acrylics, on different substrates and I sell my originals as well as Limited Edition prints on canvas and paper. I think success in a landscape painting is when you can almost feel the air, the sunshine, a cool shadow or smell the sea. " Susan Belloni
