Elliott Ciampi’s paintings have developed from a lifetime of contemplative observation and love of nature. His subject matter covers a wide range including impressionistic landscapes and outdoor still life. Originally he worked “en plein air” and now combines his outdoor art experience with studio painting, which allows him to work in a larger format. The paintings capture the drama of nature while featuring the tranquility of Koi ponds.
